This week’s pic’ of the week can only go to a BPRC member who added the Vet European Crown to his World title for Extreme Endurance Obstacle Course Racing last weekend in Denmark – Jason Burgess.
Jason competed against athletes from 22 other countries across a 15K course lined with too many obstacles to count. Many of the obstacles are just too difficult to describe but included everything from mud, water, rope, rings, crawls, climbs, nets and much more; a course designed to push the body far beyond its limits (I’m not kidding, check the link to see:https://www.youtube.com/
On finishing the event, Jason stated: “I’m too old for this, my body is broken…”
We feel proud that an athlete of his drive, determination, motivation and commitment is a regular entrant for us and we also thank him for all the support he and his family have given to us over the years since the start. BPRC
