Hi, once again from the side-lines of Brough Park Couch to 5K.
The belated, pic’ of the week for the 13/01 event is by way of congratulating Sienna Phillips.
Eleven-year-old Sienna attends the park events on a regular basis, and usually only misses a weekend due to a Staffordshire Moorlands Athletic Club commitment.
It was during one of those absences on the 6th January, that she gained fourth place in the U13 County Cross Country Championship; as a result she has been chosen to represent the County in the U13 girls section for an inter-county event in March.
We welcome the young and not so, the fit and the unfit; not everyone can achieve a higher-stage, however, everyone is encouraged to attain their own goal.
