This week’s pic’ of the week shows a typical snapshot of runners at the event. In short, Jack and Martin are regular runners for Staffs Moorlands AC. Martin is also an orienteering competitor and is running with his daughter Eden; who has just received a silver cup for her 50th event. Juniors James and Ed have also been coming for years, Imogen is one of a regular family trio and Luke just loves to run. While Jamie is somewhat of an unsung hero, competing consistently in nearly every event. There are many other members from all walks of life that all run for different reasons; have a look at the album and see.
From this picture, it is clear to see that we have a thriving community here at Brough Park. Together, we aim to draw people to the event that provides a supportive and not so competitive environment. Praising, encouraging and building people up to increase confidence; achieve their goals and picking them up if they should fall. BPRC
