Hi, once again from the side-lines of Brough Park Couch to 5K.
The pic’ of the week for the 17/02 event is by way of congratulating Harry Bond.
Thirteen-year-old Harry attends the park events whenever he’s not representing his school, Staffordshire Moorlands Athletic Club, or has a football commitment.
It was during one of those absences on the 3rd February, that he gained ninth place in the U15, Count Schools Cross Country Championship at Penkridge; as a result he has been chosen to represent the County in for the English Schools Championship event in March.
We welcome the young and not so, the fit and the unfit,; not everyone can achieve a higher stage, however, everyone is encouraged to attain their own goal.
Perhaps, as this young man has done and move on from our events to join and represent the local club where they can possibly progress further.
